PredictiveIndex provides powerful insights to individuals and managers allowing them to see and understand their fit within their role, where they are stretching, and the opportunity to consider a different fit.

But, it does not give them specific job opportunities that would be a good fit unless those opportunities are already defined in the organization. This assumes that the leaders know what roles are needed or best! (Dangerous bias!)

One way we could combat this assumption would be to provide proposed job families for an individual based on their reference Profile. With a tool like this (made well and used well), managers could help their team members not only gain greater awareness about themselves, their team, and their roles, but to help design roles custom-fit to the strengths of the individual! When we talk about the value of "specialization" within industry, this is directly the same thing in talent optimization and hugely valuable to the individual person being developed!
