Team detail view
In PI legacy we can create teams, the ability to create groups & teams in hire and inspire is critical. And to be able view "team details" which includes the profiles in a thumbnail form and the ability to view the profile without having to go to the specific person's profile. This functionality is CRITICAL for teaching in closed workshops and ongoing consultative support. This is a must have.

you can go back to calling it Groups or something else to differentiate between Design Teams, just need a way at looking at/working with groups of people without having to move them into a different folder. -

Erinne Trpp MergedWhile on the PI2 Design webinar it was mentioned that teams can only be created within the Design software. A large number of my clients and I create teams to make it easy to see at team at a glance, quickly run group analytics, run or send reports etc. If we remove this functionality, we will have to manually pull teams together each time we want to see them all together. This will not be efficient and will lead to a significant amount of wasted administrative time.

Melanie Wood MergedHello! I believe it to be CRITICAL to continue to allow clients to "Create a Team" in order to see a group of individuals on one screen (I believe we used to call them Groups). Here are a few use cases:
1. A manager oversees individuals whose BAs are in different folders and therefore he/she could not see everyone at once without this function.
2. A manager is looking to create a working group and wants to compare and contrast profiles to see the profiles lined up (in Design you do not see their BA's and they are not plotted properly...plotting an Individualist in the Teamwork quadrant is an ABSOLUTE misalignment and would cause problems in this case as you would ASSUME they were a B>A when they are the complete opposite). Seeing BAs is a must.
3. Being able to run group analytics without having to type in the names every time! With a team created you can run analytics any time by adding the team name.
4. Without teams, mgrs will have to run reports ONE BY ONE! No. Way.
PLEASE. -

Becca VanDerveer MergedThis feature is critically important. Managers use inspire to understand their TEAM. They need a quick way to access their team's profile.

Melanie Wood MergedAnother use case:
I have managers who use it during coaching meetings. They will create a group/team with themselves and the two or three people who are having conflicts. They will pull the profiles up and speak to them. The answer is NOT "use Design"! In Design they will only see themselves plotted on a vague pie graph without the CLEAR distinctions of an A>B having conflicts with a B>A in regard to communication or being able to point out a widest spread D>B's need for details and clarity when working with a widest spread B>D. This visual has impact!
Another use case:
I have clients who use this feature to sort groups by reference profile for projects. We can't expect clients to have the time to go searching for people in different folders and screen grab and cut and paste while searching out others in different folders. Again. PLEASE. We have had this ability to build teams/groups for the 20 years I have had exposure. Please, don't take this away and penalize loyal customers! -

Bill Barker MergedAgree with Melanie and Becca. I utilize this feature every day when consulting with clients. My clients want this feature and will be unhappy if it is removed.

Teri Kinsella MergedI agree with all of the comments that this is critical functionality. I'll take it one step further and say I would like to be able to click on the box next to the person's name on the team page and create a team from there, so I don't have to add names one at a time! Also, whenever I am speaking to a group, I like to print the team page so I have everyone's thumbnail to refer to during the session.

Beth Friel MergedThe ability to create teams in Inspire (not to mention Hire) is critical for both clients and consultants. I create a team every time I do a training so I can create multiple reports without having to go into each record separately. Many clients will not yet have Design so there is no way for them to create a team to look at in Group Analytics. In its current form, PI2 is unusable for existing clients.

Suzy Stratton MergedI'd even be open to the system auto-creating groups based on the org reporting structure - so that the creation of "teams" in design could be stand-alone - but a leader could see how their immediate team interacts and works together.

Linda Manning MergedNot including this creates tremendous work for consultants trying to recreate it for clients. It seems like PI trying to get more money by limiting what inspire can do and pushing design. If that wasn't the intention then please put it back asap.

Tamra BoucherGreat points from Becca. Here's another: there isn't a way to print or download reports for a group of people in PI2. They have to be done one person at a time. Very inefficient.

Hero Frenzel MergedYes, it is also useful to create a Team view to quickly print multiple reports such as when we are preparing for a workshop, we create a Team of the participants so that we can bulk print their reports to hand out during the workshop.

Chris PicardeThis is vital to top performer profiling with clients. I can't believe reducing the number of items we select on JA to 20 is valid but "Top performer profiling" isn't a valid practice.
Additionally, this is critical to helping us upselling to other products.
Some things are common sense to leave in... this is one -

Joan Marshall MergedMy new client (Account Owner was an old PI client) is trying to look a their team. They have inspire only and are upset that they can't run team analytics. Also, no way to send a BA report to the person or download it

Becca VanDerveerHoping for an update to this. I was hoping that this critical feature would be added to the software by now. Being able to group employees is necessary for consulting calls and training. Having to hunt and peck for every profile while on a call or during a training and then click to actually see the profile is very inefficient.

Teri KinsellaI have a team session coming up with 28 people and I will have to manually create the team to use analytics and I still can't save the team once it is created. This is crucial for the consultants who are out here working with our clients, but more importantly, our clients want this capability also.

Becca VanDerveerHello, still hoping for an update on this. Can you let us know when we can expect this feature to be released. It is a critical feature I used daily.

Joan MarshallOnce again this "upgraded platform" is taking things away from long-time clients in order to force them to buy more modules. Instead of generating more revenue and client loyalty, this is damaging.

Hero FrenzelYes, please! Especially with the loss of Folders in Inspire, the ability to create and view teams will save users a lot of time filtering/sorting/searching for their employees each time they are in the software.

Jacen (Hawthorne Union)It's very difficult to track a large number of Assessment requests, let's say for a division you are working with that has a high number of employees who haven't taken the BA, without this feature.

Donna BainesWe have a consultant doing a major Team Discovery workshop for a client (60+ attendees) she wants to be able to easily toggle over people's PI graphs and discuss through the workshop. Reference Profiles don't cut it, it's not enough info to have a deep meaningful conversation around. We know the reference profiles are a starting point, we need to see the graph. We really need the graph view in Team Discovery, along with a place to group people and see their graph. It's critical without Folders or View Team like we had before. Seeing this data helps us tell a story, badges do not.

Meggan FlahertyClients are losing time in PI2 without Teams. In Group Analytics, missing one name means starting over. In Workshops, losing bulk actions from Legacy, downloading/emailing reports, placards, PDCs, and MDCs pushes clients and partners into admin instead of outcomes. As one client put it: “We need the PI software to work for us, not make us work for the software.” Restoring these features moves the needle toward the client loving the PI2 software and adopting it, rather than giving up in frustration and considering an alternative product.

Becca VanDerveerCan we please have an update when this feature will be returned to the software? I waste so much time trying to prepare for calls, trainings, etc without this feature. Clients need this feature to view their teams.
